Comments on: Makro, Metro or Hyperstar?

All these three have contributed towards changing the shopping trend. Shopping has become a family activity – families visit even for window shopping. I had a chance to visit Metro (Thokar branch), Macro (both at Ravi Rd and Model Town Link Rd) and Hyperstar.

Out of these of course the biggest one is Hyperstar – it is more packed with people as well as items, despite of its big size it appears not too much spacious. Both MACRO & METRO seems much spacious – while shopping you feel sense of wastness – while in hyperstar a feeling of suffocation (not in their lobies though)

Entry point and Exit points always create a confusion particularly at Hyperstar and to some extent at Macro – METRO in this regard is very systematic.

Regarding prices I can’t say for sure which one is cheaper.

jiske ghar bachay hon kya usay shopping ka haqnahi???? saaalay angraiz tharkiyon ne banaya hoga,,,magar woh bhool gaye keh woh bhi kabhi bachay thay aur agar unke sath yeh hota toh aaj woh kachray k dabbay mein parday hotay !!! ammmmmmmiiiiiiiiiii

I guess hyper star is cheaper than makro , because i compare 4,5 item prices, and found hyperstyar cheaper, whereas i thought it would be expensive , because of its location.
dont know if other agree, because as you said above, you found hyperstar expensive.

Yes off course METRO Cash ‘& Carry is a nice place for shopping. It just a whole sale center and offering good facilities for the shopkeepers as well as end consumer I like the bane of children in store

I totally agree, but you forgot to mention one point of Metro. Families cannot shop there as they donot allow children younger than 10 years. WHich is their main drawback.
